Francis Grant was a Scottish portrait painter who had a reputation as a fine painter of "sporting" subjects receiving commissions from aristocrats including the royal patronage of Queen Victoria.

The print is in very fine condition. It is framed under eglosimed glass with a complementary gold frame. There is minor wear to the frame.
