Painted Scottish Stag & Thistle Chest, c.1870s
A mid-Victorian period British chest of drawers with later cottage painting, circa 1870s. In dark brown with golden yellow stenciling and adorned with important symbols of Scotland, the vignette of the stag on the top and the thistle on the drawer faces. Monogramed on each side, B.M.A.
39 ¾ inches wide by 18 ¼ inches deep by 37 ½ inches tall
Very good overall with wear a repairs.
