Good condition. Two light waterstains on the matting (right middle and lower right). Two tack holes at the top corners of the matting. Some debris on mat. The frame shows some distress; scratches and scuffs.
John Taylor Arms was born in Washington D.C., he studied architecture at Massechusetts Institute of Technology the began his career as an architect. Soon after served in the Navy during WWI. After the war he dedicated himself to being a full-time artist, becoming one of the most famous printmakers of his time.
