French Celadon Table Lamp with Bronze Mounts, Circa 1880
French celadon‑glazed ceramic table lamp with cast bronze mounts, circa 1880s, converted from a mantle vapor lamp. The baluster‑form body is decorated in low relief with stylized foliate and lattice motifs under a soft blue‑green celadon glaze, and is raised on an ornate bronze base with pierced gallery and matching upper fittings. The tall column and original lamp hardware give the piece an elegant, vertical profile suitable for traditional, eclectic, or collected interiors; shade not included.
Dimensions: 5 inches wide and deep by 22 inches tall.
Condition: Good overall with age‑appropriate wear. Celadon body free of major cracks or repairs, with minor surface wear and small firing or glaze irregularities from manufacture. Bronze mounts show tarnish, rubbing, and scattered surface marks. Wiring is functional.
