Offered is a hand-colored aquatint engraving entitled “Thorough Breds” featuring four thoroughbred racehorses with jockeys in a stable. The print is from a series entitled “Fore’s Stable Scenes” which was published by Mess Fores in London on August 2nd, 1844. It was engraved by J. Harris after J.F. Herring (a prominent equestrian painter).

The print is in excellent antique condition. The framing is also very good with some minor age-related wear.
