English Mahogany Chiffonier, 19th Century
An English mahogany chiffonier with an upper shelf, shaped gallery back, and one drawer with a concealed spring-release mechanism inside the cabinet. The piece has a two-door cabinet below and a well-figured flame mahogany grain throughout, mid-19th Century.
37 inches wide by 15 ½ inches deep by 52 inches tall; surface height 37 ½ inches.
Shows age and surface wear consistent with use, with repairs to the shelf and filled areas. Structurally sound overall.
