F. Townsend Morgan (1883-1965) was a nationally recognized and awarded etcher. Born in Brooklyn, Ny. His early career was spent in Philadelphia and later in Key West, though his body of work encompases cities and scenery all along the eastern seaboard. Morgan's works are part of the permanent collections of several notable institutions including New York Public Library, the Library of Congress, the Treasury Department of the United States, as well as Museums in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and the Key West Art & Historical Society Customs House Museum.
