Continental Baroque bleached chestnut work table, circa 1720.
Rectangular red marble top above drawer—both added late 19th century—raised on ring-turned baluster legs joined by baluster-turned H-stretcher.
Width 35 ¾ in, depth 17 ¾ in, height 30 ½ in.
Displays mellowing to bleached surfaces with age cracks, heavy worming, edge wear, and stable joints appropriate to age. Marble previously drilled for backsplash, with small chips and edge wear and dry worn surface.
