Offered are a pair of framed botanical trypichs from Jacques Daléchamps Histoire General des Plants, published in 1653.
The first frame features the following prints: Racine fenton les roses, La Spergula, and Halaftion de Mattbiol.
The second frame features: Grame de Manne, de Matthiol, Dictam baftard de Dodon and Briza de Dodon.
Jacques Daléchamps (1513-1588) a French botanist and physician. He was a student of Rondelet and was considered one of the foremost French Botanists of the 16th century.

The prints are hand-colored and in good antique condition. The framing was professionally done and in excellent condition.
