Offered is a framed original single leaf from the illuminated manuscript Book of Hours, a prayer book, printed in Northern France circa 1450. The calligraphy of the text is embellished with gold and lapis. The illustration on the left features flowers of blue, yellow, green and red set against a motif of gold ivy.
