A pair of English oak back stools or side chairs, late 17th century, with scroll-carved crest rails above paneled backs and plank seats. Raised on turned front legs and stretcher support, with bleached finish.

Good condition with age-related wear, including cracks and a repaired crest tip, repairs to seat corners.
