19th-century painted plaster bust after the marble original by Sir Francis Chantrey (1781–1841), depicting Sir Walter Scott (1771–1832) in three-quarter right profile with tousled hair and direct gaze, draped plaid shawl over toga-style shoulders, on circular socle base.

Likely from a London figure-maker similar to P. Sarti or De Ville; Chantrey's canonical model, cast widely for Regency/Victorian interiors.
