A Shenandoah Valley federal walnut candlestand attributed to a Rappahannock County maker, circa 1820.
Octagonal top supported by ring turned pedestal resting on vernacular tripod legs. Early dry finish, looks to be original.

Good overall; old notch taken out of one foot, scratches stains and general wear.
