Max Finné of Wilhelmstrasse, Berlin was a portrait painter, restorer and museum conservator who specialized in 16th and 17th century paintings for museums in Germany. For the Lower Saxony State Museum, Hanover, Finné is noted to have restored paintings by Paolo Veronese, Jacopo Bassano, Carlo Maratta, Guido Reni, Pieter Claesz, Carle Van Loo, Hugo van der Goes, Pieter Bruegel, Tischbein, and Jan Kupecký.
