Welsh bleached oak cwpwrdd deuddarn, circa 1700.
Classic two-part form with drop pendant cornice turnings above three raised fielded panel upper doors and brass drop escutcheons; lower section with three graduated drawers featuring chamfered faces over twin raised fielded panel doors with matching brass escutcheons, all raised on stile feet.
53 ¾ inches wide by 22 ½ inches deep by 72 ¼ inches tall.
Displays bleached patina with areas of shrinkage, age cracks, worming, losses. Later functioning locks.
